Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated September 17, 2026

The short version: do not use IterPrompt to break the law, hurt people, deceive people, or attack the service. This policy is part of the Terms of Service, and breaking it can cost you your account.

Why this exists

IterPrompt gives people prompts and a way to run them on third-party AI models. That is useful for almost everything and harmful for a narrow set of things. This policy draws the line, and it applies to everything you do here: prompts you run, content you publish to the library, and how you access the site.

Your use of a model through us is also governed by that provider's own usage policies. Where their rules are stricter, theirs apply.

Do not use the Service to

Break the law or harm people

  • Generate, solicit or distribute child sexual abuse material. We report this to the authorities, always, with no warning and no appeal.
  • Produce non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content involving minors, real people who have not consented, or deceptive depictions of real people.
  • Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, defame or incite violence against anyone, or promote self-harm or eating disorders.
  • Generate content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organised hate against a protected group.
  • Develop weapons, explosives, or biological, chemical, radiological or nuclear capabilities; or plan physical harm to people or infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, stolen credentials, counterfeit goods, or human trafficking.

Deceive or defraud

  • Run phishing, scams, pyramid schemes, fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake identities or engagement farms.
  • Impersonate a person or organisation, or present AI output as human work where doing so misleads someone materially — including academic work where it breaks your institution's rules.
  • Generate political disinformation, voter suppression material, or content designed to interfere with an election or a census.
  • Create deepfakes or synthetic media of real people without their consent.
  • Produce spam, or bulk unsolicited messages of any kind.

Give advice you are not licensed to give

Do not present the Service's output as tailored legal, medical, financial or psychological advice to another person. Do not use it to make automated decisions about someone's employment, credit, housing, insurance, education or legal status without meaningful human review — and never in a way that discriminates on a protected characteristic.

Misuse other people's data or rights

  • Do not put someone else's personal data into a prompt without a lawful basis to disclose it to a third-party processor. That includes health records, financial records, government identifiers and children's data.
  • Do not upload credentials, secrets, or material you are contractually required to keep confidential.
  • Do not publish content you do not have the rights to — see the Copyright & DMCA Policy.
  • Do not reproduce a third party's trade secrets or proprietary material through the library.

Attack or abuse the service

  • No scraping, crawling beyond what robots.txt allows, or bulk extraction of the catalogue. Our public API and MCP endpoint are the supported way to read data programmatically.
  • No circumventing rate limits, bot protection, paywalls, credit accounting or authentication — including by creating multiple accounts to get around a limit.
  • No probing, scanning, penetration testing or denial-of-service activity without our written permission. Responsible disclosure is welcome: email daiki@iterprompt.com with "Security" in the subject.
  • No reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting our source or prompts beyond what open-source licences and applicable law permit.
  • No reselling, white-labelling or republishing the Service as a competing product, and no using it to train a competing model or build a competing catalogue.
  • No uploading malware, or using the Service to distribute it.

Automated access

Search-engine and answer-engine crawlers are welcome within the budget set in robots.txt. Other automated clients must identify themselves honestly in the user agent, respect rate limits and Retry-After, and stop when asked. Forging a crawler user agent to get a larger budget is a breach of this policy.

Reporting a problem

If you see content here that breaks this policy — including something generated or submitted by another user — email daiki@iterprompt.com with a link and a short description. Copyright complaints go through the DMCA process instead, which has its own legal requirements.

What happens if you break this policy

Depending on severity we may remove content, throttle or block access, suspend or terminate your account, refuse a refund of prepaid amounts for the period after a termination for cause, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. For the most serious categories — child safety, credible threats of violence, coordinated fraud — we act immediately and without notice.

If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice we send you and we will look again.

Changes

We update this policy as new kinds of misuse appear. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes are announced as described in the Terms of Service.
