Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated September 17, 2026

The short version: cancel any time from your billing settings and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If something went wrong — a charge you did not expect, a plan you never used, a run that failed and still cost credits — email us and we will sort it out.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a paid plan whenever you like, from your dashboard billing settings. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you are currently in. You keep the paid features until then.
  • You are not charged again after you cancel.
  • Your account stays open on the free plan. Saved prompts, folders, tasks and run history are not deleted by cancelling.
  • Credits already in your balance remain usable — a free account can still run prompts while it has credits.

Subscription refunds

Monthly subscriptions are paid in advance, and a cancellation stops the next charge rather than refunding the current month. That said:

  • Charged by mistake? If you were billed for a renewal you meant to cancel and you have not used the plan in that period, email us within 14 days and we will refund it.
  • Service materially broken? If the paid features did not work for a meaningful part of your billing period, we refund the affected portion.
  • We discontinue a paid feature or terminate your account without cause? We refund the unused part of the current period, pro rata.
  • Unauthorised charge? Tell us before opening a chargeback — we can usually resolve it the same day.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid unit for running prompts on models. Because a run spends real money with the model provider the moment it executes, credits already spent cannot be refunded. For credits you still hold:

  • Unused credit packs bought within the last 14 days can be refunded in full, as long as no credits from that pack have been spent.
  • Failed runs. If a run fails because of a fault on our side, we refund the credits it consumed. Tell us the run and we will check the ledger.
  • Output you did not like is not a fault — AI output is variable by nature, and the model was called and paid for. We do not refund credits for output quality.
  • Auto-reload charges can be refunded on the same terms as a credit pack. You can turn auto-reload off in billing settings at any time.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be converted back to money except through a refund described here.

If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services, without giving a reason.

When you start a subscription or buy credits, you ask us to begin supplying the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed — which, for credits, means once they have been spent. Until then, the 14-day right applies: email us and we will refund the unused part, deducting only what you have already used.

These statutory rights sit on top of everything above; nothing on this page takes them away.

How to request a refund

Email daiki@iterprompt.com from the address on your account with "Refund" in the subject line, and tell us which charge you mean (the date and amount are enough). We reply within 3 business days.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank usually posts it within 5 to 10 business days — that part is out of our hands.

Abuse

We may decline a refund where an account is terminated for breaching the Acceptable Use Policy, or where refunds are being requested repeatedly in a pattern that looks like using the service for free.
